Hours:
Full Time 35-40h per week, 5 out of 7 days
Part Time 10-20h per week, 2 or 3 out of 7 days

In this role you will be hands on with all food preparation and enjoy an interactive environment providing friendly customer service and support to your fellow team. A personal interest in food preparation and an ambition to further career prospects within this field are sought after although not essential. Taylors is a local growing business and we are proud to be able to provide excellent opportunities for career progression. Previous experience within a catering environment or barista role is particularly helpful for this position however full training will be provided. More importantly you will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoy work in a busy environment and learning from others within a team and have a real eye for excellent quality food, coffee and friendly service. Duties of this role are outlined as follows:
- To always provide helpful and friendly customer service
- Adhere to best practice in food hygiene and following company policies
- Apply illy training and methods to provide a thorough and conscientious barista service
- Follow correct cash handling and card machine transactions and procedures
- Be proactive in your approach in maintaining the shops environment
- Take responsibility as part of your team for the cleanliness of the shop and follow shops specific requirements and checklists
- Assist with daily food production
- Work together with others as a part of a team
- Be willing to offer help with future training of new employees where required and offer support
